The method
Design, log, read, adjust. Then repeat until your clients are different.
Presence Coach is a loop between a coach and a client. Nothing in it is automated away, because the part that works is the part where someone notices.
The whole loop, explained
Prefer to be walked through it?
How a real coach designs your habits, why sealing the day honestly matters more than any streak, and who else gets to see you keep your word.
- The thirty seconds that decide the day
- Why a person beats an app, every time
- Integrity: the one score that matters
- Your accountability circle
Step 1 · Design
A few habits, chosen by a coach
You (or the coach you assign) read the client's intake and pick three to five habits with the highest chance of holding. Each one carries a reason that matters to the client, a simple target, and where it helps, an anchor to something already in their day.
Step 2 · Log
Thirty honest seconds
The client marks each habit done, partial, missed or rest on their own private page — no app to download. Then they seal the day. Sealing is the whole trick: it turns logging into a statement rather than data entry.
Step 3 · Read
You see the week as it lands
Logs land in your dashboard as they happen. Three misses in a row on one habit and you'll know on the third day — not at the end of the month, and not because the client finally confessed.
Step 4 · Adjust
The plan moves
A habit a client keeps missing is usually badly designed, not evidence about them. Every week you (or their assigned coach) reshape, retire or replace habits so next week is winnable.
Why the loop holds
Small enough to do tired
Habits are sized for the client's worst realistic day, not their best imagined one. If they can only do it when everything goes right, it's the wrong habit.
Witnessed, not scored
Nothing here grades the client. A person reads it. That single difference is why clients keep logging in month three, when they'd have deleted an app months ago.
Honesty is the cheapest option
Because the integrity streak rewards sealing rather than succeeding, the client telling the truth always costs them less than tidying the grid.
The problem it solves
Your clients don't stall for lack of ambition. They stall between sessions.
01 · Too much at once
Clients change twelve things on Monday.
Every habit costs attention, and attention is a fixed budget. Twelve habits means twelve part-time commitments, all failing quietly. Presence Coach keeps you to the three that compound, and holds the rest for later.
02 · No real accountability between sessions
A training programme can't watch what happens on the other six days.
You build a great programme, then the client goes quiet until next week's session. A person needs to notice what's happening in between. Presence Coach reads the week, replies every week, and adjusts the plan the moment it stops working.
03 · All or nothing
One missed day and the client quits the whole thing.
Perfectionism is the real habit killer. Presence Coach is built so an honest miss costs a streak but never progress — because what you're building in the client is the daily act of turning up to the truth.
The rules that make it work
Built so the honest answer is always the easy one.
Rule one
Seal the day
Ticking boxes doesn't count until the client seals the day — saying: this is a true record. Only sealed days build a streak. One tap, and it turns logging into something they actually mean.
Rule two
The repair rule
Every client carries two streaks. Their habit streak counts consecutive days done. Their integrity streak counts consecutive days sealed, whatever the result. Owning a bad day resets one streak while the other keeps climbing — so honesty always pays.
Rule three
Yesterday closes
Clients can fill in today and yesterday. Anything older is locked, and only you or their assigned coach can reopen it. History stays real, so the line on your dashboard is worth looking at.
Rule four
You hold the pen
Only you or the coach you assign adds, edits or removes a habit. The client can ask for a change any time and often should. What they can't do is quietly delete the hard one at eleven at night.
And one promise from us
No fake urgency, no invented numbers.
No countdown timers, no confetti for a habit the client didn't do, no leaderboard against strangers. Your dashboard shows what actually happened, including the weeks it went badly. That's the only version that's any use to you or the client.
Where Presence Coach sits
Between a training programme and a full-time coaching practice, there was nothing. Now there's this.
| Training alone | Manual check-ins | Presence Coach | |
|---|---|---|---|
| How you offer it | Nothing between sessions | Your own manual check-ins | Built into the tool you already use |
| Who does the coaching | No one | You, on top of everything else | You, or one of our trained coaches |
| Designs the client's habits | N/A | You, from scratch each time | You hold the pen, we hold the structure |
| Notices when a client goes quiet | No | Only if you happen to check | Same-day, on the third miss |
| Protects clients from quitting | No safety net | Depends on your bandwidth | The client can't edit the plan away |
| Rewards honesty, not a clean grid | No | Rarely | The integrity streak |
| Effort to run per client | None, but no results either | Hours of manual messaging | A daily glance at who's on standard |
The headline benefit
Accountability is the product you can now sell. Everything else serves it.
One named coach who knows what the client said they'd do, looks at whether they did it, and comes back to them about it — every single week. That's the thing a training plan on its own has never been able to deliver.
Someone notices
The coach sees logs land. Three misses in a row and the client hears from them on the third day.
Someone answers
Every weekly check-in gets a real reply from a real coach, not an automated nudge.
Someone holds the pen
Only the coach edits the habits, so the hard one can't quietly disappear at 11pm.
Someone adjusts
When the plan stops fitting the client's week, it changes. That's the job, not a failure.
A safe place for your clients to change
They can be honest here. Private, and welcome.
The habits people most want to change are often the ones they've never said out loud. What a client shares stays private between them, you and Presence Coach — never shared, never sold. You can assign a coach who's the right fit, whatever lets the client be honest. No lectures, no shame.
Presence Coach is habit coaching, not medical or mental-health treatment.
What Presence Coach is not
- Not AI. No bot writes the plan and no model reads the logs. A trained human does both — you, or one of our coaches.
- Not another app to install. The client gets a private daily page, nothing to download. You get a dashboard.
- Not therapy. The coach runs the method. If something is outside that, they'll say so plainly and point the client to real help.
